The Dancer

I started dancing tango in 2007 at Arizona State University, and thanks to my incredible teacher, Daniela Borgialli, I was hooked from the start! What began as a love for dancing quickly grew into a deep appreciation for the worldwide tango community. I’ve been fortunate to live and dance in Phoenix, New York City, San Francisco, and now, as a nomad, the entire world is my dance floor. Along the way, I’ve organized marathons, milongas, and practicas, DJed events, and contributed to building and enhancing tango communities wherever I go.

For me, tango is more than just a dance—it’s like breathing. It’s a universal language that connects people across cultures, a way to build friendships and find community no matter where you are. The joy of being a social dancer, meeting so many wonderful people, and sharing moments both on and off the floor is unmatched. And the beauty of tango? You can walk into any community, even if you don’t speak the language, and feel at home through the music and movement.
Tango is why I became a nomad—it gave me the courage to explore, knowing I’d always have a support system waiting for me. It’s artistry, culture, music, connection, and so much more wrapped into one extraordinary experience. Every time someone asks me what I love about tango, I can’t help but dive into its endless layers of meaning and joy. It’s all-encompassing in my life, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

The Leader

Leading has always been my default, and it’s a role I deeply love. There’s something magical about creating music, movement, and moments together with a partner. When I lead, I cherish the trust and care that my followers allow me to hold. My mission is simple: to keep you safe, supported, and inspired.
For me, tango is a conversation, not a monologue. My goal is to be musical, offering space for my partners to express themselves and play. I’m not here to push someone around but to create something together. Tell me what you want with your movement, and I’ll respond with mine. Whether it’s through your creativity or confidence—no matter your skill level—I’m here to celebrate what you bring to the dance.

I’ve been following in some way since the beginning, but it wasn’t until my years in San Francisco (2015–2021) that I truly began to feel comfortable in the role. Everything changed in March 2022, when I purchased my first pair of heels. At first, I was nervous—walking in them seemed daunting, let alone dancing! But to my surprise, walking felt natural, and following opened a world of possibilities. It became everything I imagined, allowing me to explore musicality and intricate footwork in ways I hadn’t before.
As a leader in heels, I discovered something unexpected: a new dimension to my dancing. The musicality I’ve always offered my followers became something I could experience more vividly myself. It’s a joy to reimagine and embody the playfulness of the dance in this way.
Of course, there’s always more to learn, but I’m thrilled about this new chapter. So far, my journey in heels has been supported by Katrinski and Sibel Sarac, and I can’t wait to see where it leads me next.
